Charlotte Mould| Sporting award

Congratulations to Charlotte Mould, recipient of our 2023 Sporting Excellence award!

Charlotte attends the University of Exeter where she is studying Sport and Exercise science. She plays hockey for Exeter University and is an HPP athlete (high-performance programme) She also plays for ISCA Hockey club at National league level.

Charlotte started playing hockey at Hamble Hockey Club when she was 10 years old. She progressed as a teenager, becoming part of the England Hockey Player pathway, playing at County and South level and then at Futures Cup. She trialled for England at under 18 and under 21 GB squad. She also played in the Trojans ladies' first team for three seasons and was captain of the under-18s team when they won the National Plate Final.

Charlotte’s award of £1,000 will help her to cover the costs of the high-performance programme at university so that she can continue to be a part of the performance squads and develop her game further, with the goal of trialling again for the national squads.

We wish Charlotte every success in her chosen degree and sport, and we are confident that she has a very bright future ahead of her.
