Sam Riggs| Academic award

Congratulations to Sam Riggs, recipient of our 2023 Academic Excellence award!

Sam will be studying BSc Physics at Imperial College London, a world class STEM university, renowned for its work in theoretical Physics and its quality of teaching.

Sam has chosen to study Physics because he believes that it is the most interesting and effective way to explore our world and environment, finding both the mathematical and theoretical aspects most interesting, especially the philosophic interpretations of physical theories. Sam’s main aspirations for the future are to help develop our perceptions of the Universe and our understanding of how the most fundamental parts of it interact. Ultimately, he hopes to pursue a career as a research physicist.

Sam’s award of £1,000 will help him with the costs of university life and we wish him every success in his chosen degree and career. We are positive that he also has a very promising future ahead of him.
